Where are you?
My clinic is in my house based in Scratby Norfolk. This is 5 miles north of Great Yarmouth very close to the sea on the east coast. My business is listed on most current sat nav as Zena Hayward Therapies.
Can I park there?
There is plenty of parking on the road outside my house.
Do you have disabled access?
No. There are 2 steps to the front door and no handrail. There is a downstairs toilet available.
What should I wear?
Loose comfortable clothes. Please do not wear shapewear as it is uncomfortable to lie on the couch in and I cannot work through it if using Emmett Technique.
How long is the treatment?
Reflexology, healing and massage are one hour sessions with extra time if necessary for medical history taking . Emmett therapy does not have a specific time frame – anything from 10 minutes for a spinal balance reset to the longer lymphatic full body treatment plus your update on how you are today. Scar tissue treatments are usually 7 – 15 minutes hands on per scar depending on individuals needs and size of the scar.
Are you qualified?
Yes ! after 30 years of ongoing training in bodywork I am one of the most highly trained therapists in Norfolk. Insured via The Association of Reflexologists approved insurer. Qualification list HERE.
Do you offer evening, weekend and home visits?
Home visits are only available locally for a minimum of 2 treatments and travel time/cost is additional. I do not offer massage as a home visit. Reflexology, healing and Emmett therapy are available. No appointments available for the evening or weekend.
Do you keep your room warm?
Yes the treatment room is very snug in winter and I also have a heater on the couch. If having massage the towels and oil are both warmed.
What temperature is the room when there is a heatwave?
The room is kept comfortable with fans and I also have an air conditioning unit to use if the weather is very hot. Since the clinic is very near the sea we do not tend to get the intense heat that happens inland.
