The dolphin of the neck exercise is a fantastic exercise to heal any problems in the chest, shoulders, neck and head area. It is an old Chinese healing method and also has the advantage of bringing flexibility to the whole neck area.

The video below is with Qigong Grandmaster Lin and he starts with a basic qigong movement and then sits down to do the neck exercise at 19.30. You can either watch the whole video or skip ahead to the dolphin of the neck exercise. I recommend working up to 10 minutes a day to help heal any neck problems. Remember to start gently and keep the movements small to begin with – this is not an exercise that should hurt or pull! Think of warming up blue tack gently so that it will easily stretch out rather than forcing the stretch.
