I am very grateful to do a job that I love and that has such positive effect on others lives.

What started with a reflexology treatment while I was pregnant with my first child from a relative who was training to be a reflexologist turned into a 30 year + career. One treatment had a profound effect on me and I decided that I had to learn for myself!

Enrolled in both reflexology (Hadfield, Suffolk) and Anatomy physiology and massage (Great Yarmouth College) became a qualified therapist in 1994. CPD (continuing professional development) found me training in different aspects of reflexology, aromatherapy and then Reiki Healing, fitting this around my growing family of eventually 4 children. Adult Social Services then called and asked me to work for them which later involved me taking over the Serenity project completely until funding changes ended the program. This involved home visits to service users and their carers , my knowledge from study and practical experience expanded dramatically to include all sorts of disabilities, illness and the extreme stresses of the carer and person they looked after.

My training now includes advanced massage techniques that are both gentle and powerful. Combined with Emmett Therapy and scar tissue release, these can be provided to people who have limited movement and get them going again. I love a challenge! I have travelled around the country to access training with the best possible teachers, including travelling to London, Liverpool, Coventry, Birmingham and East Grinstead.

I currently live in Scratby near the sea and work from home.
